A fun linear experience

Was very well done despite how linear the game was and how easy the patterns for each boss were. But for 30 days this is extremely well done.

Very interesting

The game is very fun and interesting. The mechanic is simple but addictive which is, of course, a requirement for any good Flash game :) The interface is smooth and intuitive.

This is a good game, I like the style and it remains true to the original breakout, while doing some things that make it a unique twist to the original. The downsides to it are lack of power-ups and the musical loop gets annoying after awhile with no option to mute the music. If you could mute the music, but leave the sound effects that would be a definite improvement in my mind. But that is not a big deal. The gameplay is great, and fun. Good work.

Nice game with one glaring problem

Whenever you catch a ball, there is an animation played of a hollowed circle eminating from the ball caught. I can barely play the game with this because it gives me a headache... I think this game showed me I am prone to seizures of certain light patterns! Remove that flash everytime you catch, and this game would rock... more!

Nice idea

Poor execution. Not only that but the file size is FAR TOO LARGE for what this flash does. It is extremely short in terms of its depth and help and comes in weighing nearly 4kb... this flash should be a much smaller file size than that. Anyways good idea, but this stuff is stuff that people could learn reading their instruction manual or even by going to the "Help" link in the program itself. This is not something that needs to be covered on Newgrounds... in fact, most of it already is under the "Literature" link at the top of all pages.

Best flash side scroller beat'em up

This is the best flash side scroller beat'em up ever created. The interactivity, look, feel, responsiveness, and polish to this game is the definition of perfect. It shows that it is more rewarding to make a game with polish over the course of time rather than rushing something out for the sake of releasing it. Excellent game.

I really enjoyed this!

This is a cool game, pretty unique as well for a flash based puzzle game. Was fun and will probably come back to it. This game deserves nothing but praise because it has a nice polish to it. There could be some improvements to make it faster-paced perhaps... but I dunno, it's pretty good as is. Good work Psycho_Goldfish

Best game here!

IMO this is one of the best games here, added to favorite submission and author. Excellent work, I love it. Prolly end up playin it all throughout the week. I loved the old NES games, this is a lot of fun to have :) You should try your hand at other "remixes" you really did exceptionally well on this.
